Amphitheater

At the southern foot of Goktepe mountain, this theater is one of the oldest in Anatolia. Restored in the 1960s, it now hosts festival events.

Visitors enjoy harbor views while seated, watching boats approach and leave.

Notable details include the Dionysus altar, possible canopy holes between seats, and a 13,000-person capacity.

On a short climb to Goktepe, carved tombstones from Roman and Hellenistic periods can be seen, with symbols and sarcophagus remains tied to the region's ancient past.
